Morning Breathing
This might sound simple. We all breathe, right? But slowing down in the mornings and doing nothing but focusing on our breathe can be an amazing tool to get you in the right headspace for the day ahead. As soon as you wake up, without turning on your phone, sit upright and do 10 slow and steady deep belly breaths. You can even add in some meditation too. This will clear your mind and help you set your intentions for the day.

Nature Walks
We often underestimate the power of nature and the power of movement. Nature has the most incredible power to calm our mood and make us feel light again. Movement is an excellent way to relieve any built up tension, so combining the two for a nature walk is the perfect recipe for a steady mind. It doesn’t have to be long, even just a 30 minute power walk along your local park during your lunch break will do the trick.

Yoga
People who practice yoga on a daily basis swear by it, and there’s a good reason why. Yoga combines mindful breathing with deep stretches and gentle movement. It’s a time where you can only focus on you, your mat and your breathe, nothing else. It’s the perfect way to unwind and leave your baggage at the door. Bath Time
Setting some time aside in the evenings for a little ‘me time’ is the perfect way to end your day on a light note. Running yourself a warm bubble bath filled with epsom salts and your favourite essential oils will calm your nervous system, relieve stress and clear your mind. Getting into a deep relaxation state just before bedtime will help you get into a deep sleep too for a soundless nights sleep… win win!
