It’s no secret that Thai people are said to be some of the friendliest people in the world, and we couldn’t agree more. If you’ve ever visited Thailand and had encounters with Thai people before, you’ll know straight away how kind, caring and generous they are.
For Thai people, asking something of them is never too much trouble. They do things out of pure pleasure and couldn’t be more happy to help. This is a way of life that has been instilled in them from a very young age. Just as they are taught to give to and respect Buddha, so too do they do that to their fellow humans. No matter if you’re their best friend or a complete stranger, you will always be greeted with a warm friendly smile and an outstretched arm.
Life in Thailand isn’t easy for Thai’s. Most of them live a very basic and simple life. They commonly live on only about 12,000baht per month. However they had bought up to understand that this is the life they will lead and don’t question it. Jealousy isn’t in their nature, they accept their hand and are happy with it.
If you ever ask a Thai for help, chances are they will do it for you without expecting anything in return. This is the type of behaviour all humans should aspire to be like. Western culture is too focussed on get get get instead of give give give.
So there’s something we can all be inspired by with Thai people…
